Chuck Spang is a motivated visual artist that has maneuvered his way with determination and dedication through the changing times of commercial photography. After earning a degree in photojournalism, he started Spang Photography, quickly developing a broad clientele with Western New York’s top manufacturers including General Motors, Pratt and Lambert, and Pepsi. In New York City he collaborated with  some of the all time great talents of advertising photography, soon settling in at Kevin Lowes Studio as the studio manager and lead still life photographer for a 12 year run. At this very busy catalog fashion studio Chuck managed a growing business, shooting still life images and managing top notch photographers, stylists, and assistants to keep up with the growing clients’ needs. During this time Chuck studied computer imaging at the School of Visual Arts. Now located in Asheville, NC; these digital skills and a keen eye keep him busy as an assignment photographer and Digital Tech Assistant for location and studio fashion photo shoots.
