The Police – Synchronicity Tour, Buffalo 1984

On February 22, 1984, The Police brought the Synchronicity Tour to Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, the final North American show of the tour. 17,000 fans packed the Aud, with Re-Flex opening. On a bare stage with no backdrop, Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland played at the height of their fame, opening with “Synchronicity” and closing with “So Lonely.”

Two weeks later the tour wrapped in Melbourne, Australia, and The Police would not tour again until their 2007 reunion. These shots were made on film from the pit that night.
